Intro to Pottery

Perfect for beginners! Join us for one class per week over four weeks and enjoy a relaxed introduction to the pottery studio. Get comfortable at the kick wheel, try different tools, and immerse yourself in a calm, creative space. Fire your work in our outdoor wood-fired kiln.

When:

Weeknights: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Weekends: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Cost: $300 per person (includes clay, glaze, and firing)

What You’ll Do:

Week 1: Visit the kiln, explore tools, and throw your first pieces.

Week 2: Embrace form, texture, and the joyful messiness of clay.

Week 3: Refine your technique and prep for glazing.

Week 4: Glazing week- layer and apply glazes for unique results.

Firing:
All work will be wood-fired. Students are encouraged to attend the firing event, usually within two weeks of the final class (weather permitting).
